senior season // and a big congrats to the 2011 seniors!

Nothin’ quite like hitting the senior portrait season and realizing you barely blogged any of last year’s incredible seniors!  The year definitely flew by, but we couldn’t let it go completely without a few highlight moments from last year.  (These are only some of the lovelies that we captured!) Morgan.  Alicia.  Caroline.  Jamie.  You’ve all made it...

the city sage goes mad men – part deux!

About a month ago, we blogged the first part of this Mad Men-inspired shoot… and here comes look two!  Our inspiration comes from the idea of a disgruntled housewife coming home from a night out at a tiki theme bar, and Anne slipped right into character and just killed it.  You can see a few more on...

faryn + jason are engaged! (milwaukee engagement session)

Faryn + Jason.  What a fabulously genuine duo they are!  Creatives, dreamers, Jesus-lovers.. it was a lung-full of the purest air to get to know these two a little bit during the evening we spent with them, shooting their engagement session. Faryn works at our beloved Anthropologie, and we had actually gotten to meet her a...

Amanda - These photos are lovely. You two completely captured the essence of Faryn and Jason. So excited that you’re the photographers for the wedding as well!

Sarah Jane - Oh my, I have such a big smile on my face after looking at these!
I was thrilled when Faryn told me they were hiring you guys for their big day.
These are gorgeous, as always. The one with them both laughing is my favorite, it captures those two perfectly.

Molly - I love ALL THESE PHOTOS. Almost as much as I love these two!

A few months back, Jayden + I met Laurel + Sarah for lunch at our favorite Tosa spot, and sat down to chat about collaborating for a styled wedding shoot.  On the drive to meet the girls, I said to Jayden, “I want to shoot with alpacas.  Seriously, do you think anyone would be up...

Mortisha Brown - Nice, simple yet elegant wedding you have there! Bringing alpacas to the wedding scene is so cool. By the way, didn’t you had a hard time shooting with an alpaca? I bet they are harmless, but still it’s a very special occasion. Sure it was an enjoyable wedding.

Kerrie - So creative. Love everything. Beautiful couple. Great job team.

oconomowoc engagement session (chelsea + tommy are engaged!) – milwaukee wedding photographers

Chelsea + Tommy are mega adorable and totally spontaneous.  (So much so that they are still debating about canning the whole wedding idea and just eloping !)  We loved hearing about how Tommy proposed, and completely surprised Chelsea, as in, she didn’t even see it coming.  Those stories are THE. BEST.  They live with their pooch in Chicago,...
