Has anyone ever noticed that Kentucky State looks like a cloud?

It was 7:30 AM and the sky was filled with rain and gloomy clouds. Caroline and I met in Milwaukee with Katie + Paul, and the moment we all said hello I could literally feel the unbridled spirit of Kentucky in the air. Ah, the bluegrass state. Well, sort of … I’m being dramatic and ridiculous … on a factual note though, Katie is currently living in Kentucky, although she is from Wisconsin … the unbridled … badger state. Katie + Paul are getting married in June, and are relocating to Wisconsin.

After some coffee and some laughs, we found a stone pier on Lake Michigan that was located at Katie’s favorite childhood park [which just so happened to have the word ‘FOREVER’ painted on it! Score!] and dodged as many rain drops as we could … the umbrellas helped … somewhat. I just loved how dark the water looked! We had an amazing time meeting Katie + Paul (you are both so sweet and kind!), and Caroline kept talking about Katie’s timeless beauty, and how it reminded her of Audrey Hepburn. Even though it was a less-than-cheery climate the day we met, we could hear the upbeat and legit tones of Kentucky bluegrass music all around … and badgers falling from the sky …

Katie + Paul, thanks for choosing us! We can’t wait to be a part of your big day!

Awesome job Carloline and Jayden. I cant wait to do Kevins and my engagement photos with u even if it does bring rain i now have ideas if it does. I am so glad i recommended u guys to Paul and Katie.
