Just before Easter, it seemed that a portrait was in order … I could feel it in my waters, and then BAM! Ashley + Drew called and so we all got in the car and had a relaxed shoot in Milwaukee. Graffiti … old bricks … warm sun … freezing wind and loads of bokeh … oh, some dog droppings that we all avoided …
The real focus was on Ashley wanting some non-traditional head shots for her acting resume … we were thinking that we could have her holding some sort of resin based polymer Euro-made automatic weapon, and run across an upper level highrise office covered in broken glass … but, Ashley said she wasn’t in ‘Die Hard’, and isn’t typically your Sigourney Weaver type action star … [we still think it would have been cool … and we’re hoping Ashley let’s out her action-hero side; it’s in there somewhere!] But seriously, she is awesome and has a great look … you are supremely easy to photograph, Ashley, and we wish you all the best in your thespian pursuits!
Ashley + Drew are super fun and cool folks, and we had a blast just relaxing and shooting photos! We’ll shoot your portraits any day guys!
