film friday #2 // venice, italy

March 9, 2012

Welcome to another Film Friday, oh dear visitors and friends!!

Firstly, a big THANK YOU to everyone who has been emailing us, commenting, linking, sharing, posting, liking, and generally just sending us digital bear hugs and interwebbery affection … you all rock and we sure do appreciate your encouragement! 😉

Today we are featuring one singular roll of B&W medium format film that we shot whilst in Venice on our Holga toy camera [for more info on Holgas, please see last week’s edition of Film Friday HERE].

We soaked in all of the phenomenal city aesthetics during our stay, but, like everywhere in Italy, nothing can really prepare you for how incredible the place actually is!  These are merely windows into Venice, but I hope you are inspired by seeing these shots to get there yourself and make your own adventures.  The food, the music, the people!  You cannot go wrong … buy your tickets tomorrow … oh, and your Holga!!

Until Monday’s blog-a-day-blog-post-of-pee-your-pants-glee: be happy, blessed and look around you … there might just be something worth capturing on film!

Oh, and check out our Polaroid enthusiast friends at The Impossible Project … incredible pursuit to keep instant film production alive!!

Much love,
xoxoxo
