Sometimes I’m not traveling to another country or shooting a wedding or replying to an email, so I thought I’d tell you a bit about that today, like the time last month when I got invited on a retreat with ugg x darling in magical Joshua Tree with a gaggle of other glorious gals.
The whole thing was curated (and cooked for!) by none other than Kara Elise; an LA-sis I’ve grown to know and love over the past few years, and she went above and beyond to make sure every single second was delicious. intentional. beautiful. relaxing…
From personality workshops (where my Myers-Briggs and Enneagram junkies at?!) to horseback riding, to hikes to jewelry-making, literally every moment was too good to be true.
I’m understated. Apparently.
My Light Lab cohort, Anne, was also one of the ladies in attendance, and we got to be roomies that were basically always seen in our ugg robes. I still haven’t taken mine off. If you’ve seen my Insta story, you know I have even worn it out in public. Not sorry.

Re-living these moments has me wondering… when can I go back? I need to plan more time to take intentional retreats, that’s for sure! xo
